Rudy’s Library
On the plains of Nebraska, in a town of 2 people (according to the last census) there is a library with 5000 items!
If you look at this map below, it looks like nothing is there (besides beautiful nature that is)
There is a town called Monowi, Nebraska and it has been the subject of various news reports in the past couple of years like UK Times, LA Times, and the Guardian. It’s interesting to hear about a town that according to the news reports is “being reclaimed by nature.” Will Monowi become a ghost town? Will anyone remember it? At least for the moment, I remember it.

On our recent cross-country move, we passed through a town in Wyoming that’s just as small as Monowi. (It, too, has a sign indicating a population of 2 even though there’s now only one resident.)
But to my knowledge, there’s no library in Buford.
