It Moves Therefore It Shakes
Congratulations to all the 2008 Library Journal Movers & Shakers - and a special congrats goes out to those lovely people I have had the opportunity to work with, either in person or remotely:
If we are lucky, SOLINET will have the lovely Ms. Boulé as an adjunct instructor in 2008 - so we have been corresponding quite a bit recently.
Pete and I have had the opportunity to work on the blog, CEBuzz this past year - plus he works with a former co-worker of mine, Beth Cackowski in New Jersey.
David and I have a friend in common, Libraryman aka Michael Porter. I met DLK at a tech day for SEFLIN in 2007 and liked what I heard.
David and I both were part of the MLA Webcast last week - though I did have to do mine remotely so we haven’t actually met face-to-face yet.
I thought I knew more of the 2008 winners but I guess not! If you feel like you know a Mover & Shaker and want to nominate them, you can do so here for 2009.
